Guy has just arrived in New York from Paris. He was a senior private banker at BNP Paribas Wealth Management from January 2007 to December 2022. Prior to BNP Paribas, Guy was a private banker at Banque Transatlantique in Paris. Previously, he was CEO of CIC EuroSecurities in New York from 1995 to 2000. Guy loved the life of these 5-years; in the city and promised himself that he would come back one day.
During his 20 years in private banking, Guy has developed a strong network currently covering in 2022. 45 French UHNWI clients representing $400 million in assets under management. During his 15 years of work in the capital markets business with CIC Group, he was instrumental in achieving Primary Dealer status in Paris in 1995 and NASD Broker/Dealer status in New York in 1998.
Guy is a graduate of ESCP, a European business school (cursus of 3 years in Paris, Oxford, and Dusseldorf), and the University of Clermont-Ferrand in wealth management.
Guy is a great lover of the city who never sleeps and wanted to return to New York to start a new venture in residential real estate by building a bridge between the two sides of the Atlantic. Guy strongly believes that wealthy Europeans are looking for strategies to diversify their investment portfolios.
Most of these high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals are heavily invested in euro-backed assets, such as European stocks, bonds, and real estate. For those that wish to invest outside of Europe, the resilient real estate market of New York City is particularly enticing.
Unfortunately, Europe's wealth managers are reluctant or cannot offer advisory services outside of the European Economic Community, as regulations, laws, and customs are different. Those that want to invest millions in New York real estate need an advisory service with the knowledge, expertise, and experience required to help them navigate the market.
That is the reason why Guy passed the Real Estate Express Proctored Exam and the New York State Real Estate Salesperson Proctored Exam in July 2022. Guy will act as a Licensed Referral Agent at Elika Associates.
Guy is also a managing member of Rochambeau Advisory LLC which aims to help French HNWIs navigate residential real estate opportunities in New York. Guy volunteered to promote access to housing for low-income families in Paris and to help homeless people get housing, food, and comfort during the winter season.
He is passionate about European football, as a fan of PSG and Barcelona, and tennis. Guy is a father of two sons studying respectively in Madrid and in Paris.
