Because it’s surrounded by Central Park, Times Square, amazing Fifth Avenue shopping and much more, 135 West 52nd Street is being built for people who want to enjoy the very best of what New York has to offer. With 109 residences spread out over 48 stories, this project is slated to be finished and ready for occupancy in 2015.
135 West 52nd Street is being developed by The Chetrit Group and Clipper Equity. In addition to this building, the partnership is currently working on the Sony Building’s conversion, as well as a full-block development in Gramercy Park.
For 135 West 52nd Street, The Chetrit Group and Clipper Equity chose CetraRuddy as the building’s architects. Since 1987, CetraRuddy has built a resume that includes buildings like Walker Tower and One Madison. And because lights are a central component of this building’s design, Thierry Dreyfus, who has done incredible temporary light installations from France to China, was brought in to create his first permanent installation.
135 West 52nd Street will truly be Midtown Manhattan’s newest architectural icon. Standing 48 stories tall, CetraRuddy and Thierry Dreyfus’ combined talents are being used to create a magnificent combination of metal, glass and lights. In addition to being visible across the Manhattan skyline, the building’s light design will be on full display with the three-story glass lobby that has an incredible light installation of its own.
Residences in 135 West 52nd Street range in size from one to four bedrooms. There are also four duplexes, as well as a triplex. In the residences’ living rooms, floor-to-ceiling glass provides beautiful views that are complemented by a contemporary design palette.
Moving to the kitchen, Miele appliances are tastefully enclosed by walnut cabinetry. The countertops are Calacatta Vision marble, and some residences feature kitchen islands with the same marble.
The building’s master baths boast Siberian white marble walls. They also have elongated sinks and floors with radiant heat. Secondary bathrooms feature statuary marble on both the walls and floors, while the powder rooms have lovely custom walnut vanities.
Residents can enjoy relaxing in the 12,000 square private Residents’ Club lounge, as well as unwind by swimming in the 75-foot indoor pool. 135 West 52nd Street also features a gym with all the latest amenities, as well as a playroom that was inspired by the look of Central Park.
There are five 2-bedrooms, two 3-bedrooms and one 4-bedroom still available. The 2-bedrooms range in size from 1,432 to 1,810 square feet. The price range for these residences is $3.025-$4.025M. The other available residences are:
- 3 bedrooms/3.5 bathrooms with 2,232 square feet for $5M
- 3 bedrooms/3.5 bathrooms with 3,726 square feet plus terrace for $8.5M
- 4 bedrooms/3.5 bathrooms with 2,227 square feet for $5.3M
Because 135 West 52nd Street is located in the heart of Midtown, it not only provides convenient access to Central Park and designer shopping, but it also boasts being among the highest concentration of Michelin-rated restaurants in the world.
