180 East 88th Street

120415 01 Penthouse Detail A Final 2

180 East 88th Street is a luxury condominium that rises high above the Upper East Side in Carnegie Hill. With grand proportions that stand a total of 50 stories tall, the building has a total of 48 residences. Featuring a re-imagined pre-war aesthetic, every residence is defined by highly precise details.

Architecture

What makes this building such a unique addition to the Upper East Side is the fact that its entire facade is made of Kolumbia brick. This handmade and handset brick comes directly from a world-acclaimed Danish brickmaker named Petersen Tegl. The bricks are beautifully complemented by oversized windows. Outside of the building’s private and gated entry are a sculptural bronze marquee and natural plantings that mesh perfectly with the existing trees of 88th Street.
