Located in a quieter area of SoHo, 27 Wooster features contemporary architecture while still respecting the historic landmarked areas that surround it. HistoryHistory
Before its development, the lot where this building now sits was empty. This allowed the development, architectural and design team behind the 27 Wooster to create something from scratch. While the team wanted to put their stamp on the building, they also made it a priority to respect the landmarked surroundings.
27 Wooster was developed by Axel Stawski and Anthony Leichter. Both members of this development partnership have over five decades of real estate experience. For the design of the exterior, Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF) was chosen thanks to their expertise creating progressive projects.

This makes it possible for the building to simultaneously stand out and blend in. One very compelling feature is not only are all the full windows length, but residents can fully open them to the outside.
