Over four years ago, an investment firm based in Rome purchased three cast-iron buildings in Tribeca. Last year, they received permission from the Landmarks Preservation Commission to begin renovations. Since then, Veronica Mainetti and the Sorgente Group have converted two of these historic buildings into loft apartments. 60 White Street now features eight very impressive condos.

Because the building’s current developers wanted to honor this history, they chose to restore and reclaim 80% of the building’s current materials. The remainder of the finishes were locally sourced. The bedrooms feature a modern style that’s very soothing, while the marble clad bathrooms create a luxurious oasis of relaxation.
