The Hudson Yards Project

The Hudson Yards

The Hudson Yards

It has been a while since the Hudson Yards project was first announced, but Curbed New York reports that new information on the luxury undertaking is now available. Here is an overview of the massive project.

Hudson Yards

Hudson Yards is set to become a premier neighborhood in New York City; transforming not only the skyline but also becoming a way of life with stunning architecture, park areas, and arts and culture. The mixed-use development is set on 26 acres that will include office; retail and residential space along with parks opens spaces and entertainment.

Residential and Commercial

The bold new neighborhood is set to be comprised of four towers, two of which will be residential: 15 Hudson Yards and 35 Hudson Yards. Everything to make your new address home will be nearby, including schools, markets, parks, fitness centers as well as the touches that will make Hudson Yards a destination for the rest of the city as well: parks, arts, culture and dining, and entertainment.

The residential buildings of Hudson Yards are designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, David Rockwell, Ismael Leyva and David Childs of SOM and will provide 5,000 new luxury living accommodations.

15 Hudson Yards is the perfect spot for creative types as the 800,000 gross square foot luxury residential tower will have all the best amenities in the 75 story tower, which is 844 feet tall. The building will include 325 rental apartments, 160 for sale residences, a fitness center by Equinox, 24/7 concierge attended lobby, an on-site garage with a valet and of course a convenient location at the northeast corner 11th Avenue and West 30th Street.

Hudson Yards Amenities

35 Hudson Yards is an even more massive tower of 1.1 million gross square foot mixed-use space; including a 200 room luxury hotel in addition to residences as well as a flagship Equinox Fitness Culb. The location of the building overlooks the Hudson River as well as the Public Square.

With a curtain wall made up of vertical stripes of limestone and glass and drapes that resemble a pleated skirt; the building is both stunning and sophisticated on the outside as well as inside. Inside, 35 Hudson Yards includes 61 stories, including 21 floors of for sale residences, private terraces, a 24/7 concierge attended lobby and an Equinox Fitness Center with a basketball court and swimming pool. Also, there will also be a 200-guestroom luxury hotel with a ballroom, sky lobby, and spa. The magnificent building will be located at the southeast corner of 11th Avenue and West 33rd Street.

Surrounded by the Chelsea, Midtown West and Hell’s Kitchen neighborhoods, Hudson Yards will be the perfect place for families to live, as there will be playgrounds, cultural facilities, and schools located nearby.

No prices are available yet, but floorplans and renderings have recently been released and can be found at Hudson Yards New York.
