With 27 units spanning over 11 stories, this West Chelsea condo development is slated to be finished in 2017. Located at 522 West 29th Street, Soori High Line has the unique distinction of offering residences with their own private pools. This building is a joint project by New York’s Siras Development and Singapore’s Oriel Development. SCDA Architects is the firm behind the building’s impressive design.

As the building’s designers have stated on multiple occasions, the building’s interior and exterior were both heavily influenced by an Asian aesthetic. On the exterior, this resulted in a sleek black facade that’s very imposing and modern. Inside the building, this aesthetic helps the units successfully balance between living space and the private pool areas.

Upon walking into one of the units, residents or their guests will be greeted by massive 18-foot ceilings. This focus on expansive space continues throughout the residences. All of the space is highlighted by very large windows. In addition to custom furnishings throughout the units, they have beautiful fireplaces in the living rooms

Amenities
One of the primary goals of this development is to create a building where residents can enjoy an experience that feels like a resort. To support that goal, planned amenities for the building include a wine cellar and library. And as previously mentioned, units will also feature private swimming pools that are heated. Other amenities for the building include a gym, doorman and concierge.
Availability

Although the completion date for this project is still several years out, there are already three active sales. The first is a 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms with 1,308 square feet of space. This unit went for $3.7M. The second is a 3 bedroom and 3.5 bathrooms with 2,238 square feet. It was sold for $6.995M. Finally, a 5 bedroom and 4 bathrooms with 3,572 square feet sold for $10.995M.
Of the remaining units, their layout is as follows:
- Cellar and 1st Story: Duplex 1 bedrooms starting at 2,709 square feet (plus a large outdoor terrace)
- 2nd and 3rd Stories: 3 bedrooms starting at 2,147 square feet (3rd story units have small terraces)
- 4th Story: 2 bedrooms starting at 1,293 square feet, plus 139 square foot terraces
- 5th to 8th Stories: Duplex 5 bedrooms starting at 3,494 square feet and 278 square foot terraces
- 9th to 11th Stories: Penthouse 5 bedroom units with over 4,000 square feet of indoor space and over 1,600 square feet of outdoor terrace space.

Located in West Chelsea, Soori is near the beautiful High Line Park. This park in the sky is the ideal place to go for a Sunday walk or to enjoy reading a book in the sun. And within just a few blocks are great dining options like Red Cat and Tia Pol, as well as plenty of nearby shopping and cultural highlights.
