The Beekman

Xp6cer8oqx Living Room

Standing 51 stories high, The Beekman is a beautiful building that provides residents with their own private oasis to call home. Not only does the building offer incredible views and a luxurious living experience, but its excellent location in Tribeca offers convenient access to all of the best that New York has to offer.

History

Few locations in New York can boast a history as rich as that of The Beekman. The history of the site where this building sits can be traced all the way back to 1761. In September of that year, Shakespeare’s Hamlet was presented in New York for the first time. Over the next two and a half centuries, the site would serve as an important location for both the arts and education.

Architecture

Turreted Silhouette is the phrase architecture firm Gerner Kronick + Valcarcel uses to describe their vision for The Beekman. Thanks to its bold design and impressive stature, this building has reshaped the downtown skyline. While there are numerous visionary aspects to the building’s design, it also serves as a modern homage to elements of the surrounding area like Temple Court.

Residences

The approach that interior designer Thomas-Juul Hansen took to this project is one of bespoke refinement. Thanks to his track record of incredible homes throughout New York City, it’s no surprise that the residences are optimized for light and views, as well as have a warm and comfortable material palette. Hansen also added a wonderful twist to The Beekman’s fittings that he describes as “jewelry paired with an elegant gown.”

The living room views offered by residences in The Beekman are nothing short of incredible. The living area flows seamlessly into the kitchen, which is defined by a wonderful contrast between textured metal cabinet panels and countertops made from Madreperola quartzite stone. The master bathroom also has several notable features, including Gioia Venatino marble floors, walls made from Gascogne Blue limestone and an oversized soaking tub that offers a serene view of the city.

Amenities

Starting at the top, residents of The Beekman can enjoy a large outdoor terrace. Inside the building is a private dining room, as well as a media room. And upon entering the building, residents will be greeted a honed black marble podium where the building’s concierge is available to help with anything a resident may need. In addition to the concierge service, The Beekman also offers priority reservations, a porter, 24-hour security, valet and housekeeping.

There are currently six different residences available at The Beekman. Available options start at a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom with 1,625 square feet for $2.895M and go all the way up to a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom with 1,809 square feet for $4M.

Neighborhood

Conveniently located in Tribeca, The Beekman offers wonderful food and grocery options, excellent shopping and an exciting atmosphere that is being shaped by the influence of Silicon Alley.
