196393685

Ideally located at 275 West 10th Street, the 38 condos in The Shephard provide an opportunity to live in a masterfully renovated building that pays respect to its history of over 100 years.
History
The Shephard was originally built in 1895. Over the last century, it has remained a key part of the West Village landscape. With its recent renovation, the building provides a modern setting that is guided by a rich history.
Architecture
The architecture of The Shephard is best described as historical elegance with plenty of tastefully executed modern touches. From the carriage house lobby to burnished brass hardware, the exterior and interior designs of this building are truly special.

Residences
When Gachot Studios started this project, their goal was to bring a sense of modern living to The Shephard without relying on gimmicks or tricks. By rethinking what luxury truly means, Gachot Studios has successfully created a beautiful environment that’s both modern and warm.
All of the living spaces inside The Shephard offer ample room for enjoying what every day has to offer. The building’s design team put a lot of thought into ensuring that rooms flow smoothly from one to another. The vaulted ceilings and 3/4″ solid oak floors in the living room are expertly complemented by lovely arched windows.
Moving into the kitchen, residents will feel at ease in a space that’s defined by solid mahogany cabinetry painted in a soft grey color. Marble countertops provide beauty and functionality, as do the Miele appliances.

The bedrooms and bathrooms throughout each residence excel at providing tranquility. Bedrooms have ample natural light and beautiful wood floors, while master bathrooms have mosaic fan tile flooring made from marble. Secondary bathrooms also feature marble on the walls and countertop.
