Manual setup and sample search
In your Claude account, follow these steps. Menu wording may vary.
- Open Customize → Connectors.
- Choose + → Add custom connector.
- Enter the name and server address shown below. Leave optional OAuth fields blank, then choose Add.
- Start a new chat. Under + → Connectors, enable HELEN and approve the tools when prompted.
No ELIKA login or OAuth credentials required. This card is a setup guide; the connection is added inside Claude.
Using Team or Enterprise? Your organization’s owner must add HELEN in Organization settings → Connectors first. Account limits apply; Free accounts support one custom connector.

- Name the app HELEN by ELIKA Real Estate, review its available actions and choose Connect.

No API key, ELIKA login or OAuth credentials are required. Leave optional credential fields blank.
The Custom apps option is not visible in every account. If it is missing, check Google’s available account settings. If Gemini says apps are unavailable while Activity is off, review the Activity setting and its privacy information before deciding to enable it. Do not change HELEN’s server settings to troubleshoot a missing menu.
Open the returned ELIKA link and confirm Upper West Side, 2+ bedrooms and the $2M–$4M price range. Availability and other property preferences need confirmation. Leave client names and confidential information out of test prompts.

Before you begin.
How do I use voice search?
Open Describe your home, choose Voice your search, and allow microphone access. Speak your brief, review the transcription, then tap Show me homes. If voice is unavailable, type or use your keyboard’s dictation.
Can I say “Show me homes” to run the search?
For now, tap the Show me homes button. Saying those words adds them to your description; it does not submit a search automatically.
What can HELEN search for?
The Describe your home experience is for buyers. Supported preferences include location, budget, bedroom count and property type. Requests such as exceptional light or a particular board policy need individual review; HELEN cannot guarantee them.
Does describing a home contact an agent?
No. To request contact, choose Talk to an agent and submit the contact form. You can explore your search first.
How is my description used?
The website sends your description to OpenAI to interpret your search. Your browser’s speech service may process voice audio; ELIKA’s dictation feature does not save that audio. Leave out personal or financial account details.
Can I use HELEN in ChatGPT, Claude, Muse or Gemini now?
HELEN is available in the Claude connector directory and can be used in Muse through the private-skill setup above. HELEN’s ChatGPT plugin remains a private preview. You can connect HELEN in Gemini where Custom apps is available in your account; the basic home-search handoff has been tested.
Can I delegate a search to an AI coworker?
A connected AI assistant can use HELEN to prepare search links and research ELIKA building profiles. Cowork availability depends on your Claude account. Open the property results to assess individual homes; HELEN does not continuously monitor inventory or automatically book viewings.
Can HELEN help with closing costs and a viewing?
Use Estimate closing costs to open ELIKA’s calculator. Use Request a viewing to contact the ELIKA team with a property and preferred times. The calculator opens separately; the viewing form must be submitted by you. Neither action is completed simply by describing a home.
Can HELEN estimate the true cost of owning a specific NYC apartment?
HELEN can route a search or listing to ELIKA’s True Carry Cost Visualizer. A property listing can pass its asking price and available RealPlus taxes, common charges or maintenance. Missing property costs are left for you to review rather than estimated as known facts.
Can HELEN compare ownership costs for homes in My Shortlist?
Yes. Select the homes you want to review in My Shortlist and choose Ask HELEN about selected homes. HELEN uses each listing’s existing property-specific True Carry Cost handoff so known asking price and available RealPlus taxes, common charges or maintenance can carry into the scenario. Missing figures remain for review.
Can HELEN tell me whether I can afford a home?
HELEN can organize the inputs, not make that decision for you. True Carry Cost models the selected home’s ownership costs, while NYC Cost of Living helps frame the broader household budget. Your own down payment, financing, income, reserves and other obligations still need to be entered and reviewed.
Can HELEN handle co-op board strategy or negotiate an offer?
No. HELEN can help organize the search and route you to the right tools, but board strategy, diligence, negotiation and offer decisions require an ELIKA advisor and the appropriate legal or financial professionals.
Listing availability and property details require confirmation. HELEN helps you begin; ELIKA helps you assess the details.

Compare everyday journeys between homes. For searches with fewer than three matches, HELEN can suggest checked alternatives in location, ownership type or budget—without changing your original criteria.
Straight-line distance is labeled separately from pedestrian route estimates. Routes are not certified step-free or wheelchair-accessible; verify individual access conditions. Place ratings come from third parties, not ELIKA. School proximity does not establish zoning or eligibility.
