This privacy notice for Elika Associates II LLC, doing business as ELIKA Real Estate (“ELIKA Real Estate,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), describes how and why we might collect, store, use and/or share (“process”) your information when you use our services (“Services”), including when you visit elikarealestate.com, another website of ours that links to this notice, or engage with us in related ways such as sales, marketing or events.

Sensitive information. We do not process sensitive information.

  • Google Maps Platform APIs. We may share information with Maps or Places APIs. Location information may be cached on your device; consent can be revoked by contacting us.

How do we handle social logins?

The information received may vary by provider but often includes name, email address, friends list, profile picture and other information you make public. We use it only for purposes described in this notice or made clear within the Services.

We do not control how third-party social-media providers use personal information. Review their privacy notices and settings for more information.

07 · Retention

How long do we keep information?

In short: We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes in this notice unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

When there is no ongoing legitimate need to process personal information, we will delete or anonymize it. If deletion is not then possible, such as in backup archives, we will securely store and isolate the information until deletion becomes possible.

How do we keep information safe?

In short: We aim to protect personal information through organizational and technical security measures.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable safeguards. However, no electronic transmission or storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not defeat safeguards or improperly collect, access, steal or modify information. Transmission to and from the Services is at your own risk, and you should use the Services within a secure environment.

09 · Minors

Do we collect information from minors?

In short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18.

By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to the minor dependent’s use of the Services. If we learn that information from a person under 18 has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable steps to delete the data.

These rights may include access, a copy of your information, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection to processing. We will consider and act on requests in accordance with applicable law.

If you are in the EEA or UK and believe processing is unlawful, you may complain to your local supervisory authority. Swiss residents may contact the relevant Swiss data-protection authority.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal or processing based on another lawful ground.

You may request changes to account information or termination of an account. Some information may be retained to prevent fraud, troubleshoot, investigate, enforce legal terms or comply with law.

Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can usually remove or reject cookies, though doing so may affect the Services. Interest-based advertising choices are available at YourAdChoices.

11 · Browser controls

Controls for Do Not Track features.

Some browsers, operating systems and applications include a Do Not Track (DNT) setting. No uniform standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized, so we do not currently respond to DNT signals or another automatic tracking-choice mechanism. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, this notice will be updated.

Do California residents have specific rights?

In short: California residents may have specific rights regarding access to personal information.

California’s “Shine the Light” law permits qualifying residents to request information about categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for direct marketing and the names and addresses of those third parties. Registered users under 18 who reside in California may request removal of data they publicly post, though the data may not be completely removed from every system or backup.

Other information may be collected when you receive customer support, participate in surveys or contests, facilitate delivery of Services or submit inquiries.

Use, sharing and sale

We may disclose information to service providers under written contracts and use information for internal business purposes such as research and development. The existing notice states that Elika Associates II LLC had not disclosed or sold personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose during the preceding twelve months and would not sell personal information belonging to website visitors, users and other consumers.

California consumer requests

Depending on the circumstances, you may request deletion; information about collection, use, sale or disclosure; and non-discriminatory treatment when exercising privacy rights. Requests may require identity verification. Information supplied for verification will be used only to verify identity or authority and deleted when verification is complete.
