A few useful things to know as you make room for your life.
Are the sample plans and fit scores exact?
The samples are approximate redraws. Furniture sizes, room fit, flow and feng shui feedback are planning estimates. Check the actual floor plan, furniture dimensions, doorways and clearances in person before making a purchase or changing a home.
How do I upload and redraw my own floor plan?
In Standard, Kids or Pro, upload a JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF image under 15 MB. The redraw editor suggests walls and room areas. Adjust the outlines, confirm one known measurement, and check doors and windows before applying the editable redraw. Dimensions and room names are not automatically verified; custom redraws do not receive automatic fit scores. Kids should ask a grown-up to help check the measurement.
What is the difference between Balanced and Strict feng shui?
Balanced includes the planner’s feng shui rules when suggesting arrangements. Strict gives those same rules more weight; Off removes that preference. These are layout heuristics, not a professional feng shui assessment or a measurement check. Uploaded plans and manual redraws do not receive an automatic feng shui score.
What does the Bagua overlay show?
Bagua adds an optional nine-area visual guide across the plan. It is a way to explore traditional feng shui themes while arranging a room. The overlay is based on the displayed plan, not a measured compass bearing or an assessment of the building.
Are my designs sent to an AI service?
The planner processes layout checks, redraw tools, pet drawing effects and export files in your browser. Its code does not send these designs to an AI service. In Standard, Save to My Home Search explicitly stores your plan and selected images in your private ELIKA account. Kids and Pro project saves are local files. A file or shared plan link contains design details, so choose recipients carefully.
How do I save a plan and return to it?
Select Save to My Home Search and sign in to your ELIKA account when prompted. Saving stores your design and any selected floor-plan or pet images with your private plan. Reopen it from My saved floor plans. A save does not automatically send the plan to an advisor.
Can I use my own dog or cat instead of Zev and Cleo?
Open Make it your pet in the planner controls, add a dog or cat photo, and enter a name if you like. JPG, PNG and WebP photos are cropped to a square for the pet portrait. Save the plan to keep your changes, or choose Use Zev or Use Cleo to restore the defaults.
What happens when I choose Discuss with an ELIKA advisor?
The consultation form opens while your planner stays available. Opening the form does not send a request or attach your design. Complete and submit the form when you are ready to contact ELIKA. If the popup is unavailable, use the separate contact-page link.
Does Share this planner share my design?
Share this planner sends the public tool link. Share my plan opens the image, video and plan-link options for your design. Exports can include your uploaded plan and pet portrait, so review the preview before sharing. Public plan links use the default pets; uploaded plans and manual redraws cannot be recreated through those links.
